Suzy and Ian’s Wedding

Suzy and Ian’s wedding took place in Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire. The dominant feature of the building is the enormous stained glass window which rises majestically above the grand staircase in the central hall. This atrium formed an important part of the proceedings as the bride descended the staircase to meet her groom for the start of the marriage ceremony.

Suzy and Ian said:
“For our wedding we asked Helen to create us a design for our invites. We told her we were getting married at Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire and asked Helen to create a design linked to the hall. Helen used the main stained glass window in the main foyer to create a design incorporating our names and the date. The design was beautiful and worked wonderfully with our ideas for the day. It was lovely to have a piece of artwork that was really individual and personal to us, to use to invite our friends and family to our special day. So many people commented on the invite saying how unusual and beautiful it was. We now have the framed original drawing hanging in our bedroom reminding us every day of our memorable day”
