Morocco

I visited Morocco in April 2011 and was struck by the rich patchwork of colour and texture that hits you wherever you go. From the crammed maze of the souks with the slippers stacked floor to ceiling in every colour under the rainbow, to the bejewelled array of dazzling lanterns, to the haphazzard towers of terracotta tagines: Marrakech was a feast of visual delights.
